I began practicing massage eight years ago, training at Colchester Institute, Suffolk College, Barnfield College and at residential schools run by the Federation of Holistic Therapists and The London School of Traditional Massage. I have had my own business since 2003.
I have worked with many different clients, able bodied and disabled, young and old, healthy and convalescent. As a result I have adapted my skills for many conditions.
For four and a half years I worked with disabled adults in and around Colchester. Both at a day centre, the Castlegate Centre, where they have use of a dedicated sensory room, and in their own homes. I have developed an understanding of some of the problems suffered by people living with specific disabilities, such as cerebral palsy and spina bifida, and gained a lot of knowledge into the treatments that can help ease day to day problems.
